Can I feed my roaches fresh tomatoes?

Hi I raise 12 species of roach and was wondering if I can feed them fresh tomatoes, a neighbor gave me more than I can eat. I just want to make sure they would be a safe food for them.

I fed mine tomatoes with no problems, but they did go mouldy very quickly. I mean seriously, within a few hours there was fuzz on them, so be very careful of that!

I cut tomatoes in to a few pieces, mostly because I want more roaches to get at the tomatoes. This seems to help get the tomatoes eaten quickly. Though, I primarily feed them to orange heads which eat everything quickly...
