I have found on internet a site that explained how to make a waterer for roaches (that will be nice when I will go on vacantions).

That's a sweet idea if going away! Though Pcrystals tend to be good for about a week in my room even with temps around 80....This would be super sweet for arachnids ......yuppppppp

Looks good but id be afraid of the sponge molding. I'm sure if you kept a good eye on it though it be cool :)

I wouldn't worry about bacterias, but sponges are used for spiders, wich use their chelicerae, for chicks and so on...

The matter is that roaches will use their mandibles... They will eat the sponge, and I don't think it's ggod for them...

They will let poops ont it, and their fungis will develop... Not sure this is a really good idea for roaches ;)

I place whole carrots in the enclosure on the area that has dry substrate. They do not rot and my hissers will eat them WHEN they get thirsty. They do not always prefer them but when they are VERY thirsty they will eat them. Simple but effective...just a thought : )
