Chinese mantis egg case dud?

My Chinese mantis egg case that I got in April hatched yesterday! But only 7 came out. The last one on its string died on the string and was just hanging there. This made me think it was clogged so I pulled out the dead one along with the string. It has been a day and no more have come out. Does this mean that the rest still inside the egg case are dead? Or just haven't came out yet? When should I release the ones that have already come out?

It is fertilized ooth or you wouldn't get anything. Keep the temperature near 80 degrees, you may get more, but Chinese ooths tend to explode all at once.

I got it from Peter in April. Ya I've seen videos and they all come out at once which is why I was wondering I only got six. If I get another one how long will it take to hatch do you think?

Do you mist with water once a day and keep it warm? More might emerge later

I mist the enclosure about once every 4 days or so. Should I do it more often? I keep it at around 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Shoot for 80 degrees, they hatch in about 2-3 weeks at 80.
