Chocolate

I'm not a fan of chocolate and I have some 75% cacao with acai and goji berry chocolate bars that I probably wont eat. I'd assume that small amounts would be safe for them to eat since roaches native to places that these cacao bearing trees grow probably eat the fruits and seeds that fall.

I recently fed some scrapings of it to a female dubia of mine and all seems to be fine so far, but I was just wondering if it's safe to add to their diet every now and then.

My rule of thumb is anything is fine as long as it isn't garlic, onions, or spicy. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

For the record, my (ok, rather picky) Blatta lateralis didn't even touch the 85% Godiva Dark Chocolate I gave them. Now, I'd like to note that not even I could eat that crap. Stick to Ghiradelli.

But my great great grandma lived to 104 years old and she swore that her secret was constantly eating the darkest chocolate possible constantly
