E javanica and G portentosa

Well, they CAN, however from my understanding it isn't a great idea to mix species as there may be competition for food.

Ok, just trying to make maintenance more efficient :) I already have 40 tarantulas and 3 Amblypygids, what's one more roach colony to maintain? And no, these aren't feeders, they're pets :) My dubia and latteralis are feeders. I just can't bring myself to feed Hissers off..

They should be fine housed together, just be sure not to house species in the same genus together, particularly in Gromphadorhina, to avoid the risk of hybrids being created.

Well I got them, and housed them together. I'll see how they do together. E javanica has got to be the prettiest roach I've ever seen.

i just got some too. a few are sub adults. they are as pretty as a roach can be! very calm compared to my dubias.

Good idea, I'm going to house my tigers and javanicas. Lemme know how your experience goes!

Well, I have 12 javanica (plus unknown number of nymphs) and 7 portentosa (plus nymphs)together, so far no dead babies, no fighting, they're doing just fine. It will be interesting to see them multiply. I've been raising tarantulas too long, I was expecting the portentosa males to start static, or kill some javanica over food, but they all chill together very well. Nymphs seem to be ignored by both species.
