freshly molted e.posticus mating

Third Instar
I have found freshly molted orange head roaches mating before. I watched three different roaches chasing this newly molted roach around flicking there wings trying to hook up. is it normal for for roaches to breed before they dry out or is my colony just kinda trashy?

I've witnessed a newly molted female being surrounded by males in a full circle, the second she leaves her molt they pounce. It's very... rapey.

Fresh molts probably give off a stronger pheromone.

Maybe they're also preferably desired for their obvious potential to carry the first mates offspring?

She's a slut bonnnggg lol.

It could be bad because some roaches attack and eat freshly molted individuals
