Hello all, I am looking for guest speakers to come and speak at some of the Invertebrate Club of Southern California's meetings. You don't need to be a scientist, and you won't have to stand on a stage 
. We're just looking for experienced and enthusiastic fellow hobbyists to come and share their knowledge with us! While we can't fund your trip to visit us, if your passing through SoCal please don't hesitate to let us know, just to visit or to speak. We'd love to have you!
Qualifications: You must have extensive (firsthand) experience in the topic that you wish to discuss, records or references to back it up, and it must be applicable to the invertebrate hobby (obviously). Stuff like breeding, collecting, observation of species in the wild, care and propagation, etc. are all acceptable; stuff like the study of a springtail's bristles through a microscope, not so much. Really all you need is yourself and what you know

We have a diverse range of interests on everything from arachnids, to insects, to crustaceans, to myriapods, and much more, so please don't hesitate to contact me in regards to a certain topic you wish to discuss.
We meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 10:00 to 11:30 (you don't have to speak for the entire time) in either Pasadena or Redlands, depending on the month. I have attached our calendar, so please just let me know when you would like to come by. Locations and exact times are subject to change depending on the weather and attendance.
