Hello, from Indiana!

Hello! I am a new owner of two hissing roaches! I have a male and a female. I was given a small container and food, but I feel like the container is  way too small. How big of a tank + what add ins would you all recommend for them? I want them to be happy and comfortable! :)

If you want to keep their future babies, I would recommend a gasketed/waterproof storage tote/bin with added ventilation. Lots of great easy to access care info here: https://www.invertebratedude.com/p/madagascar-hissing-cockroaches.html?m=1
If you don't use a gasket bin you will probably end up with babies loose eventually.
Welcome to the forum!

If you want a really nice display tank, I would totally recommend a Tarantula Cribs enclosure. They have arboreal and terrestrial options available. The only downfall is they are quite expensive, but they're really high quality. I just received their treehouse switch large size for an order coming in from Hisserdude that I'm going to set up tonight so it's ready when they arrive later this week.

The ventilation holes should be small enough that the nymphs won't escape in most of the TCribs enclosures, plus their magnets will hold all doors securely in place.

If you do go that route, here's a discount code for 10% off from TarantulaKat on YouTube! KAT10

That said - I have almost all of mine in storage bins :ROFLMAO: Inexpensive, I can see through it enough that I'm satisfied even though it's on the milky side. :) I just splurged on the ones incoming because I'm super excited for them and really want to showcase them.
