Help needed! Is this an aborted ootheca? My female hisser has never mated and is alone in her tank!?

Yup, that's an aborted ootheca, and since your female is on her own, without any males to fertilize her eggs, this is to be expected. Not a sign of bad health or anything, she's just aborting them because they are all infertile. :)
