How to feed two Pycnoscelus surinamensis?

I am curious what the best way to feed these two wc gals. The tiniest bit of food molds very quick. i have them in a ventilated plastic shoe box with some dry coco fiber and dead oak leaves. Also a small lid of water.

Just throw a bunch of dead leaves in there and offer small pieces of apple, which shouldn't mold up too bad, and once the colony gets bigger you can start throwing in a whole bunch of food. A few pieces of oats would be nice for them too.

Agreed carrot and apple are accepted by most vegitarian inverts all ways available and easy to find organic options.

I put in a few oats, a piece of carrot along with the dead leaves. I checked them today and they have gotten fat. I hope they produce soon not knowing how old they are.

They should do well for you thier very prolific i advise a pretty large enclosure i started with 2 and in 2 monthes they produced so many the whole colony crashed cause thier container was to small.
