P pannaking22 Gyna Jul 12, 2016 #3 Do you have any shots from the top? I'm thinking either Melanoplus differentialis or Melanoplus bivittatus. Leaning towards M. bivittatus. Nope, they aren't toxic like lubbers unless they've been feeding on toxic plants.

M metrioptera Ootheca Sep 21, 2016 #5 I realize this is several months overdue but I can confirm that these are two-striped grasshoppers, Melanoplus bivittatus femoratus.
