I need my dubia roaches to mate but I have been struggling trying to figure out how to keep their tank warm. It's about 70 degrees in my house. Are there other more non flammable things, or do you think the heat lamp isn't enough to catch cardboard crates on fire? Thanks.
I don't think the lamp will ignite anything in the enclosure unless you're torching your roaches at 400+ degrees. Just make sure the lamp is not touching anything flammable or meltable itself and has enough room to radiate excess heat away.
