I decided these would make a good Allpet Roaches' Roach for this IM issue and checked some of my literature (probably all available on the internet not just in abstract) and realized I'm pretty sure what species it is (of course it is not a Pycnoscelus). Yes, I am going to leave you hanging for now.

i'm mostly surprised nobody noticed what they were since it took me about five minutes and the hardcopy papers I have from Roth are easy to find online but the stock has been around seven years or so. Satisfaction would be if they were something new or nearly impossible to identify.

It is believed that African Bullets are Neostylopyga propinqua and Giant Greens are Panchlora exoleta. I too believe to know what the Little Kenyans are but won't ruin the fun for Orin.

Who would think that for the bullets and why? I sent the giant Panchlora specimens to Roth when he was alive and he said without a location that particular stock would be impossible to identify to species. I wish he was still around.

Hey,

Just digging up this (very!!!) interesant topic... Orin, I heard you find out they were Paraplecta sp., is it sure? Do you also know the species?

I hope to see more roaches identified in the future, that's a shame we have so much species waiting for an ID :)
