Hey everyone. Can you tell me what the best way is to get rid of them just for security. O was thinking of using the "shake and bake" method. Kind regards madagacar hisser lover

 
Can we get a picture of these mites? Hissing cockroaches are known to carry mites which are actually beneficial to them and don't need to be removed. If the mites you're encountering are grain mites, then you should probably try to keep a cleaner enclosure, though they're really nothing to worry about in most cases.

 
If it's regular hisser mites (which tend to live under the head), it's best to leave them on, I've actually heard that they feed on a microscopic fungus that grows between the plates in a hisser's exoskeleton, and that fungus can cause allergic reactions in humans, but the mites keep it in check, I'd only consider treating mites if there are hundreds of them.
