multiple spp in one container

is there any reason that i shouldn't keep multiple spp in one container assuming that that the spp wont hybridize and have similar care requirements?

i can't think of any reason not to but am wondering if i'm missing something

If they have the same care it'll work. Keep an eye out for one species outcompeting the others. You may have to refresh the bin sooner. 😁

Also, if any species lays ootheca keep watch that they aren't being eaten.
ahh, thanks. i didnt even think about that. makes perfect sense though, i dont' have clean up crews with any of my current spp that have ooths. once i decide which ones i want to try together i will come back here to ask about them.
i want to keep a few more species but am pretty much maxed out on the time i can spend on husbandry. im selling off all but about 75 of my tarantulas and am going to combine some of my real small colonies so i can get more roaches !!!!

I'm starting to combine again. I used to but after a while it was either cull to keep numbers in check or separate. I don't really sell or have anything to feed. But if you have that many T's all is good!

i have several different large colonies i use for feeders which i sell occasionally but im not really a seller either. i mostly want to combine some of my smaller starter colonies
