[NO LONGER AVAILIABLE] Cryptocercus sp.

Immanus

Second Instar
Cryptocercus sp. for trade. This genus of roaches is fairly unseen in the hobby. And their care is not commonly discussed. These particular specimens are collected in the mountains of West Virginia :). I have kept them for 4 months now and they have been doing well. They look like tiny hissers (just over a inch at maturity, but very bulky). Interested in all kinds of other inverts. Not a beginner species, please look into the genus’s requirements before purchase. Sadly I cannot ID them to species, if you have the experience photos will be provided.

trade only, I do not sell WC insects.

Punctulatus seems to be the most common species, but I found this specific colony in a lighter rotted wood than where I found punctulatus in NC. In bugguide they don’t seem to range into WV and these were collected in northern WV bordering Ohio.

The northernmost localities of Eastern Cryptocercus should all be punctulatus, see this (WIP) map listed on Bugguide

I caught them where the red circles are lol ;)

So according to that no species live there. Anyways you are likely right. Still, they are posted for trade, I am looking to trade some of them off for other roaches or inverts.
