Ootheca not hatching

Over three months ago I found a Balta sp cockroach carrying an ootheca so I brought her home. After a few days she dropped the ootheca and I returned her outside. It still has not hatched. Is it dead? I can't seem to find any information online about incubation periods for this genus.

Incubation time noted here at 1-2 months. Either she hadn't met a male yet or possibly humidity isn't high enough.
