Panchlora Giant substrate?

Hi there.

I would like to start a culture with Panchlora sp. Giant, but i'm not very fond of the wet substrate

Is it not possible to keep them in some kind of dry material?

Hello Jeanette,

You only have to keep one area wet. The rest, especially where you keep the food, should be very dry.

I was thinking of making somekind of platform/plate for the food. Would you say that was enough?

I'm sorry if this may be a stupid question

, but is the juveniles capable of crawling up from the substate to get the food?

Crawling to find food on nearby dry substrate yes, crawling onto platforms/plates maybe not.

Hmm... okay

Then I'm a little unsure how to keep wet and dry in the same box.
