I hope to find some parcoblatta near where I live in Utah what kind of microclimate/microbiome should I be looking in? Better yet is there hope for me to find them here or is it to... Utah? I've seen inat observations farther north than Salt Lake City so I am holding out hope.

I've never heard of Parcoblatta being found in Utah, but it's possible (there weren't any sightings of Parcoblatta here in Idaho until I found a population of P.americana here). Under logs/debris on the ground and under leaf litter is where they tend to hide. They prefer moist/humid microclimates.

Many thanks that gives me an idea of where to look. Did you find yours just in a hardwood or mixed forest?
