Problems with oothecae

Hi!

Well, I keep E. opaca and Blattidae sp. "Sri Lanka". I want to know if the oothecae need special cares (humidity, temperature). I keep the adults and ninph with egg cartons, water in a little bottle, fruits and veggies (apples, some tomatoes and bananas), dog food and 1" of substrate (dry coco fiber). It´s somethig wrong? The roaches live and grow well, the problems are the oothecae.

Orin: No I didn´t, they digged in the substrate and put them on it. The females covered the oothecae with some substrate.

Matt K: sorry, I don´t write English very well :( . My problem is: the oothecae get bad and didn´t hatched and I want to know if I have to do something special with them.
