What color sand should I use for Macropanesthia rhinoceros? I know not to use sand with calcium in it.

Any color sand would be fine, just get the cheapest one.

You sure that it doesn't contain any dyes or harmful materials? Should I go for the darker color sand? This is a huge investment and I want to get everything right before hand.
No, that stuff is just pure sand, no dyes or anything. It's completely safe to use for your rhino roach.
You could use playsand as well, it's much cheaper and you get a lot more bang for your buck!

Substrate depth looks great, but yeah I'd take a little out and add more soil.

I'm trying to get the 50/50 ratio right but keep adding more than the other. Now I think I have too much soil than sand! You can see the sand clearly when you clump the substrate though. What do you think?
