They are actually quiet different.
Rhyparobia genus is able to climb on everything, both sex have long wings, they use an odorant way to avoid predators, and females seems to take care of the babies for a long time. You can't find these things in the Blaptica genus. I suppose there are other criters, for exemple genetics, that create a seperation between them
