Anything off the shelf for stopping roaches besides Vaseline? Mine is sliding down the side of the container. I was hoping to avoid coughing up for Bugstop.

Hey Perry ,there is a good chance that you are laying it on too thick, I use a foam finish paint brush to make it uniform on the side of the container.

Bug Stop only really works well for lobsters. Vaseline works fine if you spread a thin layer 3-4 inches vertical across the top.
