what types of roaches live in tennessee? i am going sometime next year and i want to know if i can collect some.

Some neat ones that come to mind are Ischnoptera deropeltiformis (sexyleg or dark woods roach) and Pseudomops septentrionalis (pale bordered field roach). A note on sexylegs, though, I've heard that the individuals from their northern ranges ( including Tennessee) require a simulated winter to breed in spring.

Also, if your ever curious of the insect life of a given area, you can always use bugguide.net; it is a very helpful source.

Good luck roach hunting.
