Selective breeding

Does anyone do selective breeding to try and get good sizes? I have been doing it with dubia and haven't seen a difference yet but it will probably take a while. If anyone has done this what have your experiences with it been like? Is it worth doing?

 
I'm doing it for color and so far I've had decent results. Trying to breed the yellow color nymphs that become light adults. It's not diet that causes it but random genetic oddities. Sometimes people get winged female dubia or hermaphrodites but rarely try to breed them, I however would find those worth breeding!

 
Yea that would be pretty cool. I haven't thought about doing it for color yet but maybe something down the road. Thanks for the reply
