Sling scavengers?

Does anyone know if tarantula slings (babies) will scavenge for food? I have a particular sling that I didn't pay close attention to and now is in trouble as far as I can tell... It has eaten maybe 2 SMALL SMALL Periplaneta australasiae new borns... I wanna know if I put a dead roach in there, will it eat from it? I know jumpers do along with some other Arachnids.

Yes, my tarantula slings have fed on dead roaches and crane flies that I place in their enclosure or wiggle in front of them with tweezers.

I feed tiny slings a half a mealworm. They can and do scavenge from the cut end, easiest way to feed them.

Ya, fresh kill the prey. They also eat terrestrial isopods.
