Spare roach skins - We've got all sizes!

Are they all from the same species?

Looks like all the same species. I have a bit of a collection too, but I'd rather save mantis skins since they don't eat them sometimes!

Yes they're all from Parcoblatta. Ever since I brought my colony home from college and set them on a shelf above a heater, they have all been molting like crazy! Every morning I look in and see skins left at the top of leaves or the logs that I have in there. I got two more this morning

My daughter likes to save the skins of all of our molting creatures. Sometimes we look at them under the microscope. I even laminated a subadult Chinese mantid skin that she keeps in her wallet. That is the only mantid skin that wont fall apart. :lol: She is always taking out the skins and looking at them.
