Styrofoam Egg Cartons?

I just purchased 7, 18-count styrofoam egg cartons to use in my roach enclosures, thinking they were pulp. But when the bid ended and after I paid, I realized the miscommunication. And there's no returning something as measly as an egg carton. Would including a styrofoam egg carton in a cockroach enclosure compromise the health of my babies?

I think if they r clean they should be ok but don't quote me
