The Endeavor of Cleaning Bins

Had to clean my hisser bin today... Not the best experience. We need to figure out a better way for cleaning big colonies. Any ideas?

 
What are they in? If it's like a storage bin, I'd say to just have an extra one on hand. That way, you can prepare new substrate in that bin, then move stuff out of one bin (minus sub) and into the new bin. Dump the old substrate from the first bin, prepare new substrate, and move another colony into it, etc. That makes sense in my head. Hopefully it does to you too. lol
