Therea ooth hatch time?

It's been about 5 months since my females have been laying ooths, and I have yet to see any hatchlings. I know Polyphagids take a long time to hatch and grow, but still, I'm concerned. Also, I saw a half eaten ootheca in the cage, why would they eat it? Is this species known to eat their ooths? Should I separate them? Any advice would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance! :)

I'd wait another month before worrying. My domino roach oothecae took six months to start hatching. The nymphs also excel at not being seen, so you may have some and not be aware of it.

Ok, thanks! I expect them to be hard to find, I have trouble finding the adults sometimes!

They are T.olegrandjeani. I kept them at room temperature, so that may be why they took longer to hatch.

Yeah, yours are a bit warmer than mine, at most it gets to about 75 F in my bug room.

I started my therea colony with only 3 adults. And now they are loads of. That took a long time but i think they are quite productive.

I started with eight nymphs, three of them matured and produced many ootheca, the others are still nymphs. It only takes a few adults to make a ton of ootheca!
