Things roaches in general won't eat:

Seconding the celery and cucumber, my hissers didn't take to it. They love banana though after it sits around for a day or two getting ripe. I tried squash yesterday and they really like it.

In regards to dryfood mine like pond sticks but only go for it after they eat through their fish flakes. I haven't seen any signs of them nibbling on the cat or dog food I've offered to them.

Not a hobby farmer. Just a girl living in an apartment complex, with neighbors who unintentionally farm/breed. I just wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread, as lots of natural foods/ spices/herbs claim to be repellent. i.e. orange peel and lemon juice, mint, bay leaves, cucumbers. Kiwi was actually mentioned as something they would like, so I am surprised to read all the contradictory information and difference between species and routines and feeding habits available diet

Has anyone tried mint? Or lavender? Lemon ? If there is a collective spreadsheet, I would love a glance. Also not recommending, just asking about experiences.

Thank you. Happy food chain pet farming
