White-Spotted Assassin Bug Care?

Aphaenogaster

Third Instar
Earlier today, I took a tour of the local university insect zoo. I donated a few insect species and ended up with some assassin bug nymphs in return. I assume that they are Platymeris biguttatus, given the coloration.

Does anyone have experience with these? Are they difficult to maintain?

Thanks!

Super easy. Enough hiding places like bark or egg carton, and drop in enough prey items if you keep them communally. Not picky about humidity, actually they can live without even drinking water. Eggs need moisture to hatch though, if you put down a dish of moisten substrate females will deposit eggs in it.

KEEP THEM AWAY FROM YOUR FINGER, EYES OR KIDS LOL

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it.

Will they grow at room temperature? I'm running out of space in my heated desk drawer.
