Zebra roach Eurycotis decipiens

Does vaseline contain these guys as well as it does lobsters? I have never had lobsters escape or hissers for that matter. But these zebra roaches....I have had 2 escape now... One I found....it actually managed to go from my room down the hall 2 rooms and found at the top of the wall by the ceiling!

how do most people keep these? Im thinking I will have to put them in a glass sliding screen top cage and put the vaseline?

The container they are in now is your average small plastic bin with 2 inches of vaseline.... There are some air holes drilled in the lid which is where they are getting out.

Any ideas would be great.....I only have 3 left of these guys

Try screening and a tighter lid. Also, thin out the Vaseline; the thinner, the more effective.
