I found 4 "pits" in my neighbor's yard. Do antlions exist in Michigan?

I tried to dig them up, but to no finding.s x.x

Drop an ant in...and after it is seized then attempt to dig it out with a spoon. They will be the same color as the dirt and possibly tiny so make sure to inspect your catch carefully before determining that you missed.

 
Got'em! Just had to realize that, unlike I'm told, they come from the side of the tunnel. :P

 
Wow, these guys are so awesome!

I went to the park, and brought a container because I thought the area was good for these guys, and from looking with my friend with little light left we found 4! :D

They are all very cute and are digging funnels ATM. :P
