Yesterday morning I checked my Rabdoblatta formosana cage to find a half eaten aborted ooth. I left it in there, assuming the roaches would eat the rest. Right now I checked the cage and there are babies coming out of the ooth! Not nymphs from another litter, these ones are still white and seem to be pushing themselves out of the ooth. I am quite surprised, I was under the impression that aborted ooths don't stand a chance, I guess I was wrong! :)

Here's a pic of them.

Well, unfortunately they never left that stage, they are all unresponsive, and have probably died. :( I wonder why?
