Looks like im going to get a hercules beetle larvae from a friend and have NO clue/experience/care skills for beetles at all (LOL) can someone help a fellow out with a simple care sheet that will help this guy survive? all comments are welcome if they help out! Thanks!

Mix oak leaves with oak sawdust and wood and add compost (make a lot of it). It might work.

Just for the head warning. When using sawdust, you must ferment them COMPLETELY! If not, gas and heat produced from fermenting process can kill the larvae.

I suggest you read up, you are jumping into something challenging! Try getting The Complete Guide to Rearing the Eastern Hercules Beetle (yes, it covers granti) or The Ultimate Guide to Breeding Beetles, Coleoptera Laboratory Culture Methods. You can find them both from here: http://www.angelfire.com/oh3/elytraandantenna/ Good Luck!!
