Does cape cod roaches really take as long as people make it out to take?

I ordered some pallid roach feeders for my dwarf tarantula, and I want them to come in soon since she hasn’t had feeding this month, ik they can go a long time without food and be unaffected but I’d at least like to start the colony soon

 
In my experience, I honestly thought they would never come. No response to any e mails. Then one day after months they came, although at least I was given an over count. However I have heard that in the past they were a lot better about shipping. Let me know if it looks like they have things sorted out by now as I live in New England and it's difficult to find sellers close enough for shipping costs to be reasonable.
