Eyed click beetle

Hey guys I tried signing in Beetle forum.net but never got the email....

So here are some pics of this really beautiful beetle. I caught it mid flight and at first I thought it was a moth.

Husbandry advice would be great. I have a cage set up with deep substrate of 6 inches. and using mango and papaya as food source.

They are very common in North Carolina. But I guess they are interesting.

I don't see them often enough down here..

We have a giant version of the click beetle out here, almost 3.5-4" long and they're pretty cute too

Very nice beetle! I see these often under pine bark.

The larvae are pretty interesting to rear. Nice beetle!

I saw this one in flight....impressive sight... few beetles that size in SE Fl.
