Giant Vinegaroon Caging?

Is a 12x12x12 cube aquarium (link below) big enough for an adult Giant Vinegaroon or do I need to pick up a 10 gallon aquarium? Also, is a fir bark substrate safe for the Vinegaroon, ie not toxic or health hazards?

I think you'd be better off with a coconut fiber/ sand mixture or something to that effect.

I'm sure that size cage is just fine for one vinegaroon

Actually I've been using a fir/coco peat mixture called jungle mix for quite some time with my tarantulas. It works great, and should be fine for one of these, or any invertebrates that aren't desert dwellers. Its a bit moist, and holds it well. Probably because of the pieces of fir bark in it, its kinda chunky.

Ahh, my bad. Still, let it dry out and its ok for dry species as well
