Here's a pic of my hisser "sleeping" on her side

Mine are often upsidedown in their cardboard tubes. They like the smallest space they can find to hide in.

 
Roaches don't strictly obey gravity, especially not sticky-footed ones like hissing roaches. It's pretty cool.
