I bought B.craniifer and A.tesselata from Romanbuck, and they came in faster than expected. They were packaged well, and they are amazing! Thank you! I highly recommend him.

I bought a few species from Roman, and I am very happy I did. The roaches were well packed and all of them arrived safely. He was very good about answering questions promptly, and was very professional.

Well I did a trade with him, and I never got my roaches, but he did pay for what I sent him eventually...he wasn't very great with communication, but I think he's new to all of this and needs more experience. If you ever do a trade with him, make him send his first. In the end things worked out though, so I appreciate that. He just needs to learn to be prompt with communication and shipping.

My transaction with Roman has been an "interesting" one. I know he is a good breeder and is serious about the hobby. However, he needs to improve the way he handles sales. By organizing himself, I think he can do that. I have edited this review because Roman did, to his credit, deliver in the end.

I had sent the package today and I will be getting Mr. liquidedna his tracking info tomorrow when I am working. The major reason of the delay is I didn't have an address to ship to after I was banned from AB.

Still waiting for my order after five weeks of sending a payment. Never got any info on shipping tho he said he'd ship but never did. No refund was sent yet. Kind of disappointed

Updated * 11/5/15

It's been a couple months now and he says the package was shipped once every week and that he'll send me the tracking but I've never received a package or tracking... very bad at communicating. There is always an excuse..

I made the unfortunate decision to trade with him. I sent my roaches to him in early July, but he still has not sent his. He's made little effort to communicate and resolve this so far. During our conversation, I found that a few of the species he was originally offering weren't even in his possession. He said that a friend would be shipping them instead. His replies have been scarce. I'd expect him to be on top of this like any seller should but it seems like he's forgotten or lost interest.

Update 11/19/2015

He actually did ship something now. He gave me the wrong tracking info so I wasn't able to see that it had been shipped or delivered. It was one digit off from the one on the package. I thought he simply didn't ship it yet and was going to next week. It did arrive but with much less than I was expecting. There were some deaths in every species. I got less than half of the B. rothi that I asked for. I sent about 1100 feeder roaches of different species and 20 small A. insignis. I only received about 25 roaches from three species in return. Not a good trade at all. I wish I had never agreed to it in the first place. At first it looked like a promising deal but went downhill very quickly. I would absolutely recommend that you not buy from or trade with Roman.

Had a trade with him earlier this year. I didn't even complain to him much about all the unsatisfactory since I hope it's just a single case, but seems there are more victims here so I think I should speak out too.

I sold him some stuff at first time and there's little problem. It took him some time to pay but I shipped after the payment so that's ok. I packed a lot extras for him, and those roaches appeared on his selling list the next day. That's not my favorite attitude towards freebies, but it's okay.

Then I did a trade with him later; I send him a pack (with freebies of course), but it took him a few months to ship the things I want. I was off town for one month, but it's not the excuse for him to ship several months later, with fewer number and species he'd promised.

Oh yeah, he told me it's 2 days shipping but used UPS ground instead, which took 1 week and arrived on an unexpected day. Most roaches were dead.

So if he has paid you to buy something, it's okay, But I don't suggest to buy or trade with him.

If you don't want to/don't have time to read the whole thing below, I'll make it quick here. NEGATIVE REVIEW, DON'T BUY OR TRADE WITH ROMAN BUCK.

I have done a couple deals with Roman and that'll be it. The first went off without any problems, likely because I just sold him a few things. This second time though...we worked on a nice trade with both sides being happy. It took a while and things kept changing, but that doesn't bother me too much since shipping weather was good and we were both getting new stock so deals can change. When we finally settled on an agreement and planned on shipping out on a set date, I dropped my box in the mail. Messaged him with the tracking number and he responded saying he wasn't able to ship because he hadn't gotten paid yet at his new job. Seemed strange since we'd already agreed, but things happen.

Fast forward a couple weeks. Still hasn't shipped and I guarantee he's gotten paid (he gets paid every other week). I message him and he says he'll get it in the mail once he gets a box and gets time after school. I tried to keep that in mind since he's in high school and can't really mail things during the school day. I was rather busy too (lots and lots of fieldwork), so getting a shipping date figured out was a bit more challenging, but still certainly doable.

Now we're two months in. Ah how time flies. Still haven't gotten the box. He's ignoring my messages even though I know he has seen them. He also keep trying to change the deal to him shipping me different species than what we originally agreed on. We agreed on those species for a reason and my end of things had gotten to him two months ago! I was firm in what I wanted since by that point I figured he was going to try to mostly send me the cheapest things possible.

He's still dragging his feet on shipping so I tell him I'm going to start posting negative reviews. He very very quickly ships out a box. Except he didn't. He couldn't find the tracking number and the box never arrived. Its been several weeks since he said he sent that box and it still hasn't come in. Weird huh? So I tell him it still hasn't come in and I'm going to post reviews that day because he had lied to me about shipping, not just once, but twice! He shipped out about minutes later and sent me a tracking number that time. It was a really weird tracking number that never worked, but at least the box came in (though it was delayed because he shipped late on a Thursday and the mail room here is slow).

When the box finally came in, it was poorly packed, but basically everything lived. There were a couple roaches that died, but they were species that he had given me a couple extras of, so no big deal. Temps were pretty low on my end (upper 30's at night) and he packed in the smallest USPS box possible with minimal padding. You could hear the containers shifting around in there every time you moved the box. He did short me on one species (~25 instead of 50), but he gave me extras of a rarer species, so that made up for it. One species was missing completely, but again, the extra rares made up for it, as did a small colony of T. tomentosa isopods that I've been wanting to get.

So all things told, I won't be doing business with Roman again, and I strongly urge other people to avoid him as well. If he's buying from you, it should be ok, but if you buy from or do a trade, expect nothing but bad things and a huge headache (and maybe not even getting your inverts).

Is there anything I can do for those of you that are unhappy? I genuinely feel really bad and guilty for what has happened. I am willing to ship whatever I have left of my hobby collection and or give you guys some money to make up for this. I know it's a bit passed due but again, I genuinely feel terrible.
