I raise Bearded Dragons, I use to feed them crickets, if the smell and the die off wasn't bad enough, a few got lose

and made their way to my landslords apartment/office, I almost got evicted, now I breed Dubia, my guys eat them,

everyone who buys a baby bearded from me learn to feed them dubia also, best move I ever made. As a feeder

they perfect for my guys, I now have over 20,000 Dubia, 9 bearded dragons.

I feed a lot, I feed two leopard geckos, one panther cham, 30 hermit crabs, one blue tongue skink and occasionally feed my friends salamander when I am watching him... since he never gets roaches otherwise XD

Here's something to be warned of... Don't feed your roaches a radish and then feed them to your pet. I gave one of my gray tree frogs a baby dubia that vomited spicy radish juice- now he's scared of roaches and won't eat.

KitKatie329 Look how cute he is!!! <3 Walter is a opossum after my own heart.

ChiManSam So glad roaches worked out for you! :) Gotta keep those beardies fed. Crickets are honestly a pain in the you-know-what.

Andee Nice bunch of pets! Do you enjoy the BTS? I've heard they're great.

Salmonsaladsandwich :( Oh geez! I've heard that feeding a lot of radish to herbivorous herps can cause pink urates. Your frog probably didn't appreciate all that juice! Is he alright?

He's fine- he's hungry enough to attack a bug video on a computer screen, but he has now learned that dubia roaches vomit toxic radish juice as a defense mechanism. He won't even look at them. I guess I need crickets till he unlearns his "lesson"...

I received some leftover salad/bread/apple cores from my co-workers for my bugs (I avoid the word roaches with my coworkers). I ate the radishes because I figured the roaches would not like them... would they have been safe for the roaches to eat, assuming I did not use them as feeders in the near future?

Thanks!

lecole4: I do love my BTS a lot, though right now he has mites, we think he came with them since he had the signs early on I just didn't recognize them for what they were at the time. So he's undergoing treatment (has been to the vet and stuff) and is iso'd from everyone else .___. poor guy. He is my little puppy dog in lizard form, he's grown from 64 grams to 95 in a month. He's getting so big <3

My roaches liked it. It even offers them some protection from predators.

Oh, I cannot let my girls see this post of Walter....lol

I already have seven children and a small zoo :) all seven would want one of their own :o

ATM only have to feed 6 mantids. But I have some jumping spiders I will be getting soon and 9 more mantids so I will have to feed those.

Years ago I had a red knee.  I hope to acquire an M.Balfori communal and eventually some others like OBT, GBB, and the list goes on...

Right now I'm collecting different roaches for breeding.

Tell me about Walter?  I know very little about short tails.
